Another sting by BJP, Sisodia says PM should apologise if I’m not arrested
BJP claims an accused in the liquor scam can be heard saying that the now-scrapped excise policy was formulated in a way that a select few got benefits
The BJP Thursday released a video of yet another “sting operation” against the Aam Aadmi Party, alleging that an accused in the liquor scam can be heard saying that the now-scrapped excise policy was formulated in a way that a select few got benefits.
In response, Deputy CM Manish Sisodia said: “The CBI raided my house but did not find anything. They also searched my locker but didn’t find anything there either. Now the BJP has brought forth this sting. The CBI and ED should investigate this as well. If the allegations are correct, they should arrest me by Monday. If not, the PM should apologise to me for this fake sting by Monday.”
(poonjipati dost)”. The commission was raised from 2 per cent to 12 per cent, Sirsa alleged, adding that the CM turned black money into white using his power.

Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal retweeted this and added: “Waah, Manish! Only an honest and courageous person can give such a challenge. I am sure the BJP will accept your challenge. The whole country is proud of your work and your honesty. They are scared of your work on education and want to stop it. You keep doing your job.”
Addressing a press conference earlier, Dr Sudhanshu Trivedi, a member of Rajya Sabha and BJP national spokesperson, said, “There is a sting operation video circulating on social media… which intensely reveals such dangerous and toxic things that after watching it there remains no scope for defence.”
“In this sting operation, accused number 9, Amit Arora, is telling someone in detail how money was taken from different companies. The money was taken in advance. It not only talks about the exchange of money; it also reveals how the policy was formulated in a way that the money remains in the hands of a select few, and the flow of cash also remains in their hands… He is also saying how money was taken and distributed among the remaining people.
In addition to this, it is also showing how the money made from liquor scam was used in Goa and Punjab (Assembly) elections,” Trivedi alleged.
https://t.co/KvIdn3lIsd

In the CBI FIR, Arora, director of Buddy Retail Pvt Ltd, was named as an “associate” of Sisodia.
For instance, Trivedi claimed, there are only two big brands in India and their two main wholesalers gave Rs 60 crore and Rs 100 crore, insinuating that the Aam Aadmi Party was the beneficiary, and this money was used by the party in Goa and Punjab Assembly polls.
They also claimed that under the new policy, the commission between the manufacturer, wholesaler and retailer was decided by the government instead of the companies, which killed the competition in the market.
Trivedi added, “Arvind Kejriwal used to say that if somebody demands money from you, make a sting video. We would take action based on that… Where are those promises?”
Hitting out at the Delhi government over the new liquor policy, which has now been rolled back, BJP’s Manjinder Singh Sirsa alleged that it had been formulated to benefit Kejriwal’s “capitalist friends
Reacting to Sisodia’s tweet, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said: “Waah, Manish! Only an honest and courageous person can give such a challenge. I am sure the BJP will accept your challenge. The whole country is proud of your work and your honesty. They are scared of your work on education and want to stop it. You keep doing your job.”
