Punjab CM Mann to flag off luxurious buses from Amritsar to Delhi airport on June 15

The Punjab government has decided to launch direct buses from Amritsar to Delhi airport. The AC bus will cost around Rs 1,390 and all the facilities available on private buses will be given on these buses.

The Punjab government has decided to run direct buses from Amritsar to Delhi airport with the same facilities as private buses but at a less fare. Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann will flag off the buses on June 15.

Every day at 9.30 am, the AC buses will leave for Delhi and reach the airport around 8.10 pm. Another set of buses will leave at 1:20 pm, which will reach Delhi airport around 12.30 am. The bus fare will be Rs 1,390 and all the facilities available on private buses will be given on these buses. Passengers can book tickets online.

Charger points, mineral water and a TV for entertainment have also been installed on the buses. According to bus supervisor Rajesh Kumar, all the facilities are available on these buses.

Meanwhile, the passengers who have already booked the bus tickets say that there is a big difference between the fares of private and government buses. Now, there is a chance to travel while spending less money. For the same route, bus operators usually charge around Rs 2500-Rs 3000.

In a video message on social media, the Chief Minister said that earlier the transport mafia was making a profit from this route, but now the money earned will go to the government treasury. After the Aam Aadmi Party came to power in Punjab in March, the issue was discussed with the concerned officials.
